My partner and i recently moved into a new apartment , and while we can't always agree on big-ticket items without putting together powerpoint presentations to convince the other, we were thankfully aligned on the first order of business: upgrading to a king-sized mattress. Prior to moving in together, the occasional morning crankiness was blamed on either the full-sized, way-too-soft mattress that i inherited from a former roommate years ago, or his slightly better queen-sized foam mattress. We decided to keep using his while we waited for our new kingly throne (those extra four inches really set it apart). But since we sold all other preexisting furniture, we ended up plopping it right on the hardwood floor and attempting to improve it with a thin memory foam topper that ended up being my arch nemesis and made sleeping on the floor feel more like sinking into hell each night.

Make sure the cot is in good condition and correctly assembled. The mattress should be clean, firm, flat with no tears and fit the cot. An uneven mattress could allow your baby to roll onto their side and stomach. There is a risk your baby could get trapped in a gap between the mattress and the edge of the cot if the mattress doesn't fit properly. This could lead to suffocation.

I usually wouldn't review something i only used 2 days, but i'm really impressed with this item. The assembly was a little weird, there are no screws or fasteners to connect these parts, they fit into brackets which are welded onto various pieces, so all the parts literally lie in place, but the brackets hold tightly, so everything is in place and tight, i would need a mallet to take the frame apart. I put this together by myself and got the mattress on it with very little trouble. From the time i had the old frame and foundation out to a finished bed was roughly 15 minutes.

Lajlo nest has a base mattress but you can purchase an extra one. The extra mattress works well when you have the stain from milk, poo etc. That way you don't need to wash the whole nest. The extra mattress is also an extra insulation layer so if you plan to move your nest around and keep it on the floor we would suggest buying it.

The potton nest bed & breakfast is a beautiful family run bed and breakfast on a grade ii listed house that dates back to around 1690 and is situated just off the historic town square of potton bedfordshire. We are 10 minutes from sandy with mainline rail links biggleswade and the a1(m) we are ideally situated to explore the many local attractions such as bedford cambridge peterborough imperial war museum duxford shuttleworth rspb sandy. Potton has a number of local pubs restaurants and takeaways all within easy walking distance street parking is limited however there is a free car park just the other side of the square next to the park.
